Maccabee Mountain: Both a physical piece of land we have journeyed to and a spiritual ministry we are building up!
Our mission: To take Yahushua's Heart to the world! Everyone belongs to His Body as a different functioning part. Some His hands, others His feet and others something else; each representing a different purpose in ministry. Some are to be a healing ministry, others a deliverance ministry and so on. He has shown us that this ministry shall be a five fold ministry after His Heart and that we are to set our sight on Brideship! His heart represents His ways: His truth, righteousness, the straight and narrow. We have been commissioned to help re-establish some of His ways that have been lost through time. From learning how to hear His Voice to seeing and experiencing the Kingdom of Heaven, nothing is too miraculous or supernatural for us. We all carry powerful testimonies which prove that we indeed serve The Most High God.
As a ministry, we built a foundation from the teachings given to "Take His Heart to The World Ministry (THH)" which started in a barn, in a little town in Kansas... the Heart of America. That ministry started very humbly by a few faithful Americans who wanted nothing more but to build something that would be pleasing to God. THH started in the 1980's and has since grown to pockets around the world including right here, in a little city in Northern Canada called Sudbury. Those that started the ministry here in Sudbury were not from this part of Canada but we were moved here at the leading of The Lord. We came to a land, which is a large hill across a plane.
The land is the location where God has taken a few families and started His great promise to us; to purge us of this world and bring us into the Glory of His Kingdom. This is where we are learning to leave the fleshly desires of the world behind, in order to live in unity with Him and closer to His creations. The wilderness is where the Israelites spent 40 years learning to purge Egypt from their ways and leave her idols behind, and so we have begun a similar process.
This land is affectionally called Maccabee Mountain and that name was given because of a dream;
03-16-2020 I was looking at a large, wooden dining room table in my living room. My sister was sitting at the table speaking with a little girl, my niece. My sister held the bible in her left hand and was pointing at me while telling the child "did you know that your uncle is a Maccabee?"...
When I awoke from this dream, I did not know exactly what a "Maccabee" was but I knew it must be in scripture. I looked in my bible; lo and behold, this Maccabee Story had been removed from my version of the bible. It is one of the most historically documented books, well recognized and celebrated among Jews, so why was it removed?
The summary of the Maccabee book is this: There once was an evil king that rose up and took control of Israel. This king got a hold of the hearts and minds of the people by introducing things like the Olympics, luxuries, and sexually immoral practices that the Jews were not accustomed to. Then one day, the king sent his officers into the Holy Temple, to demand that the Jews prove their loyalty to the king by sacrificing a pig (an unclean animal) on the alter as a sign of their submission. This of course was forbidden under God's laws but the majority of the Jews surrendered and in order to keep the new idols they had grown accustomed to, they agreed to defile their temple. But, one family rose up and stood against tyranny; The Maccabee! Rather than an actual "last name", Maccabee simply meant "the hammer" and is a nickname that this family earned. The Maccabee family rebelled against the king and defied his orders to sacrifice this pig upon The Most High's Altar. With a group of other brave families, they launched a fierce attack against the king's officers and even against many Jews who had submitted to the king. They won the battle and the loyalty of many other families who had been keeping quiet out of fear. This small rebellion was no match for the king's forces and so, they all fled to the mountains to regroup, re-strategize and wait for The Almighty to send them back to regain their promised land. Over years of war, this family and many others helped to sack the King's forces and take back their promised land. The story of Hanukkah was also a miracle that was birthed through the faith of this family in this time.
As you can clearly see, it would not be favorable for those in control of our populace to have such a story glorifying rebellion against the ruling forces so, this historically factual book was removed from many bible versions. After learning this story, I did not understand why, at the time, I was being called a "Maccabee"? Then over the following years, multiple lock downs happened, people were ordered to be divided, not allowed to gather in groups even if to worship. We were all ordered to cover our faces like Muslim women and in the name of some obscure threat, give up all our freedom. A tyrannical global government emerged and a beast had been exposed. The beast demanded that in order to be a part of it's system, the people must defile their temple with something unclean. The people were threatened with a loss of jobs, heavy fines, jail time and even threats of complete exclusion from all society if they would not submit. There were even rumors of concentration camps emerging, being built as a "temporary" means for those who would not obey. It was at this time that my family and I stood up and began a rebellion against evil. We risked our careers, our luxuries and all we had known and moved to a mountain in the wilderness. This is where we have learned to see idols we never knew we had and begin a process of spiritual purification, just like the Jews of old, just like the Maccabees! And this is how we have come to call this land Maccabee Mountain.
As a land, all are welcome to visit; some to stay for a bit and others, if God so chooses, to find a permanent home here with us.
As a ministry; we welcome all those who are tired of the mainstream message, the dead churches, and are looking to build a relationship with The Living God.
How to join us? Legally speaking, we are a "Society" with Private Members Only. Those who have come, put in sweat equity helping on the land as we build up our society in various forms and fashions; from housing to farming to recreation, there is always lots to do. To join our membership one must first go through the "trial" period where we all can meet and see who is a good fit. This is how we let The Lord build, according to whom He brings. Ultimately, through His Wisdom, all will be in agreement whether this is a permanent home or just a temporary visit. We welcome both.
